A Red Lip

I bought a new red lipstick for my Halloween costume last week - I was a ladybug - and have been wearing it ever since.  I love the pin up-esque feel of this outfit, with the red lip and the belted waist.  Here's hoping the weather stays uncharacteristically warm for November for me to keep light dresses in my rotation!

White Vest

After being incredibly under the weather for the majority of the week - the cold that was running through my first grade class room decimated my immune system - I'm finally starting to feel better again.  Since I'm still recovering, I've had a fairly low key weekend and have been wearing laid back, comfortable clothes, like this outfit, while spending time with my friends and boyfriend.  I love wearing this white vest - it's so soft it feels like I'm wrapped up in a blanket - pairing it with comfortable moccasins and a slight punch of color with my fig colored lipstick.

Wednesday Wear

Top - Forever 21.  Blazer - H&M.  Skirt - BCBG.   Booties - Urban Outfitters.  

Usually I don't like to wear pencil skirts to work; they can be restricting, and since I work as a music instructor with kids, it's really important for me to be able to move with ease throughout the day.  I love wearing this BCBG one because it's so incredibly comfortable.   I'm going to make this a short post because it's been a long day...and is already past my bedtime!
