Smelling Pretty

As I mentioned in my last post, I'm running out of my Stella McCartney perfume and have been on the hunt for a new scent.  Here are some perfume choices that I've had my eye on; the best part is that not only do all of these choices smell wonderful, but they're all cruelty-free!

               

Victoria's Secret fragrances - my favorites, Bombshell and Tease

Tocca Beauty - Bianca is my favorite of their Eau de Perfume choices

Prada - Candy's scent with a hint of caramel is surprisingly sophisticated

Philosophy - Love Sweet Love has hints of vanilla, grapefruit, and mango

Ineke Fragrances - Scarlet Larkspur and Briar Rose 

Lollia - Relax and In Love; the gorgeous scents come in the most adorable bottles.

White Vest

Top - H&M.  Vest - Love By Design.  Jeans - STS Blue.  Moccasins - Minnetonka.  Watch - Fossil.

After being incredibly under the weather for the majority of the week - the cold that was running through my first grade class room decimated my immune system - I'm finally starting to feel better again.  Since I'm still recovering, I've had a fairly low key weekend and have been wearing laid back, comfortable clothes, like this outfit, while spending time with my friends and boyfriend.  I love wearing this white vest - it's so soft it feels like I'm wrapped up in a blanket - pairing it with comfortable moccasins and a slight punch of color with my fig colored lipstick.

Celebrity Style Crush

True story: I'm obsessed with Diane Kruger.  I'm fully convinced the woman can commit no fashion wrong.  Although I couldn't pull off half of the things she wears, I still draw inspiration from her daring and chic choices.  These are just a few my favorites of her red carpet looks.  

     

                           

Small Things

A few small things putting a smile on my face currently:

Voluspa candles - it's uncharacteristically hot right now, but I'm still perpetually burning candles.  This is one of my all time favorite scents; it's sweet on its own and mixes well with other scents if you have multiple candles.

This Sugar Paper print - I'm madly in love, even if it does remind me of my occasional homesickness for Southern California.

               

My current reads on my night stand: J.K. Rowling's The Casual Vacancy and Emily Schuman's new book, based on her blog, Cupcakes and Cashmere. 

How awesome is this TokyoMilk cosmetic bag? I've been needing to get a new cosmetic bag for awhile, and I'm planning on getting this one the next time I got out shopping.
